How You Choosing Kickstart Coffee in 2023 has Changed Lives

2023 has been a year of incredible growth and ever increasing impact. We've roasted and shipped 11 tonnes of coffee (that's over a million cups of coffee!).

 Our profits have:

• Funded the salaries of 32 teachers & support staff every month (doubled from last year)
• Enabled 271 children to go to school fee free (up from 180)
• Funded 11 secondary scholarships (up from 6).

 Together we have also:

• Provided two nourishing meals every day
• Ensured there is clean water for vulnerable families 
• Funded antibiotics for a child's bone infection 
• Revamped the school’s dining area with tables and chairs 
• Planted posho and matoke on the school's farm.

We have ambitious goals for 2024 including to:

• Develop a sustainable plan to enable all the pupils currently at the primary school to also benefit from a secondary education
• Increase the capacity of primary school with new classrooms and teachers
• Establish an advisory board with experience in education, coffee, business and finance
