Profits = Impact

Profits = Impact

Our end-of-year accounts have been submitted and we're delighted to share that we donated all £65,777 of profits to our project in Uganda last year. That's a five times increase on the previous year!

Our primary focus is funding the salaries of 32 teachers and staff who work at The Early Learning School, Entebbe. By valuing and supporting the teachers we are able to provide free education to the local community children. We now have 364 children attending school everyday with new children arriving every day.

Hannah has weekly meetings with Vivian, the director of the primary section of the school. During these meetings, Vivian provides important updates on the school and children. Every week, we hear new stories about children who do not have enough food to eat or who lack shoes and school supplies. We make tough decisions every month on how best to spend the profits we make. To help with decision-making and scaling the company, we have created a non-executive board. Our first meeting is planned for May!

Looking ahead, we have ambitious plans to build and fund a secondary school. Achieving this dream relies heavily on our continued growth and your support. Every time you purchase our coffee, you bring us one step closer to making this vision a reality. Together, we are turning beans into dreams.
